Been here twice now and the food is incredible and fresh. My friends loved everything that was ordered. Can t wait to return! My dish was the tropical ceviche served in a pineapple, it was enough for two very hungry people.

Excellent newer restaurant in Bucerias. Right above Marilyn Monroe! Started off with a free cup of shrimp broth with a tasty shrimp. Delicious. Then free basket of mixed chips, crackers and sauces: Chili oil, Tamarind and Jamaica. They have a wonderful menu with lots of choices for everyone! Service and food was excellent. We had the September special (Chile en Nogada). ¡Muy delicioso! Fresh warm rolls. Prices were very good compared to similar restaurants. A/C was a plus! Shout out to Dani(el) our waiter. The owner came around to tables. Will definitely go back. **We went back 10/1. We tried a Taco Gobernador. It was yummy! We ordered the Coconut Shrimp and Shrimp Zarandeado entrees. (Sorry for the crappy pictures. Couldn't wait to dig in!) Both were delicious. The flavors and presentation was 5 star! We argued over who's meal was the best! We got a mouthwatering piece of Chocolate Cake to go. It was so good. (Moist cake, creamy frosting and very, very, chocolatey, but not overly sweet and not too rich! ) Try it. You'll be happy you did and your stomach will thank you! Went back 2 more times and had different dishes. Clam Chowder was so good. Chef did the gourmet version. Not like traditional New England (no potatoes) but so delicious, creamy and some cheese flavor! We also had Chicken tortilla soup, it was delicious too!

This restaurant has only been open just over a year but I have been to it many times already. The staff are wonderful people that care about your experience, the restaurant is beautiful, and the price is very fair for the amazing cocktails and delicious food. Can’t wait to go back. So glad we found this restaurant near the resort area. The food and drinks are delicious, servers are all so nice! Also love their music and interior - we had such a great time here!

After a long day sailing my father and I wanted seafood for dinner. I was looking through the top-rated restaurants and came across this gem of seafood and more. Everything is very affordable. The food is well presented by the chef. Valdemar has a wonderful c chef to make up some wonderful-tasting meals. They treat you like family right from the time you walk up the stairs until you leave happy and full. I ordered the calamari and mahi mahi fish with garlic and shrimp. My father had the seared tuna and the lemon mahi mahi. The bartender makes great drinks. I'm so glad I took a chance on this restaurant. I wasn't really sure because of the cute entrance. Ya never know what you'll find in Mexico if you don't take a chance. Great food is what you'll find here. Thanks again Sv Rhiannon

I had the pescado zarandeado which was amazing .Staff was very attentive and accommodating and live music was nice and not too loud. Happy hour, good drinks! We will return.

We had dinner at Valdemar on Saturday night. The food was amazing- I had the mahi-mahi with garlic shrimp. The risotto was the best part of my meal- it was delicious! Decent prices and nice sized portions and happy hour too! My husband had the pescado zarandeado which he loved. Staff was very attentive and accommodating and live music was nice and not too loud. Located on the lateral - upstairs by “ Marlyn Monroe” - already planning our next visit!

Service was amazing! David did a wonderful job of recommending a bottle of wine to suit our table and it paired well with all our foods. The mahi mahi was delicious, a perfectly prepared filet and the Alfredo was decadent! Well done!
